Sustainability Identification Workshop
Identify risks and opportunities and define a preliminary action plan to address stakeholder requirements.
AFRY’s Sustainability Identification Workshop is a preliminary study designed to help clients explore sustainability targets and assess the potential impacts of industrial investment projects. The workshop supports early identification of stakeholder requirements — including those related to EU and national regulations, as well as customer-specific sustainability expectations.
Through a structured process of idea generation and evaluation, the workshop enables participants to:
- Identify initial risks and opportunities
- Assess potential gaps in sustainability performance
- Outline preliminary mitigation approaches
- Clarify roles and responsibilities for follow-up actions
Focus areas may include environmental impact reduction (e.g., emissions control, social sustainability consideration, or governance and compliance themes. The workshop is tailored for projects in the pre-study and basic engineering phases. The workshop is particularly suited for industrial clients seeking to proactively address sustainability demands. It helps reduce the risk of late-stage corrections and provides a foundation for developing a sustainability strategy.
